Butchery Manager

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Butchery Manager who embodies our key values of Integrity, Excellence, Teamwork, and Attitude to join our enthusiastic and high-performing Butchery Team at New World Brookfield. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on delivering high-quality products, outstanding customer service, and strong team performance within a busy supermarket environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operation of the butchery department
• Lead, train, and support the butchery team
• Ensure products are well presented, fresh, and fully stocked
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards
• Control stock levels, ordering, and waste management
• Deliver outstanding customer service and product knowledge
• Meet sales and profitability targets
  

What We’re Looking For

• Proven butchery experience, including leadership or management experience
• Passion for value-added products and contributing ideas to enhance the range
• A strong commitment to delivering high-quality cuts and taking pride in your work
• Strong communication and team management skills
• Knowledge of food safety and compliance requirements
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
• Reliable, organised, and customer-focused attitude
