We are currently looking for a Meat Packer to join our Butchery team. This
is a full time, permanent role offering 30-35 hours per week over five days
including a weekend day.
Your tasks will include:
preparing meat products for sale
ensuring that all meat displayed is well presented, wrapped and
labelled,
ensuring meat cases are appropriately stocked
assisting with customer enquiries
ensuring food safety and compliance procedures are followed
The ideal candidate will:
ideally have previous meat packing experience and demonstrated knowledge
of butchery equipment and products
have the ability to handle heavy lifting and cold temperatures in the
meat preparation area
be customer focused with an eye for detail and commitment to delivering
a superior customer experience
ideally have knowledge and experience of food safety and compliance in a
meat processing environment
