Cake Baker/Cake Decorator

We are looking for a talented Cake Baker/Cake Decorator to join our busy Bakery Team at New World Havelock North.
This is a hands-on role creating beautiful and delicious cakes, slices, specialty items and celebration products for our customers.

Hours

This is a full-time position.

Tuesday – Saturday

4am-12:30pm

About the Role

This is a key position within our Bakery Department, responsible for:
• Baking cakes and specialty items
• Decorating, finishing, and presentation
• Producing celebration cakes to order
• Maintaining quality, freshness and product consistency
• Food safety and allergen awareness
• Working as part of a supportive bakery team

What We’re Looking For

Ideally, you will have:
• Previous bakery or cake decorating experience
• Strong piping and decorating skills
• Creativity and attention to detail
• Good understanding of food hygiene and food safety
• Reliability, enthusiasm and a positive attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
