Cake Decorator/Pastry Chef

We are on the hunt for an experienced and passionate Cake Decorator / Pastry Chef to join our bakery team. If you love working with buttercream, fondant, ganache, and more – and know how to balance artistry with amazing flavor – we want to hear from you!

What you'll be doing:

• Designing and decorating celebration cakes, cupcakes, slices, pastries, and more

   

   

• Creating a wide variety of baked goods with consistent quality and presentation

   

   

• Customising cakes for special orders and events (birthdays, weddings, etc.)

   

   

• Maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and efficiency

   

   

• Collaborating with a dedicated team to meet daily production and service goals

   

   

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience as a cake decorator or pastry chef (supermarket or bakery experience a plus)

   

   

• A true passion for baking and creativity in decorating

   

   

• Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation

   

   

• The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

   

   

• A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to grow and share your skills

   

   

• Knowledge of food safety standards in NZ (training provided if needed)
