Check Out Supervisor / Lotto Operator

We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Check Out Supervisor / Lotto Operator to join our team. This is a full-time position offering 40 hours per week, with a mix of supervisory responsibilities and front-line customer service.

As this is a highly customer-facing role, you will be one of the faces of our business, so a positive attitude, great energy, and a professional approach are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating Lotto and handling all related transactions accurately
• Delivering excellent customer service at all times
• Supervising checkout operations while supporting the Check Out Manager and team members
• Approving the sale of restricted items, including alcohol, tobacco, and gift cards, in line with legal requirements
• Assisting at checkouts during busy periods
• Processing customer refunds and resolving queries efficiently
• Inputting and managing department consumables
• Carrying out store opening and closing duties

Skills & Experience:

These would be an advantage, but full training will be given.

• Just a great attitude and be keen to learn
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, confident manner
• Previous Lotto or service desk experience would be an advantage, but is not essential
• Good understanding of retail operations and checkout systems
• Ability to lead by example and support both the Manager and wider team
• Honest, reliable, and able to work independently
• Flexibility
