Checkout Manager - Our checkout area sets the tone for the whole store, and you will play a big part in the success of this.
This is an exciting role, that has lots of room for opportunity and growth, and a space where you can bring your energy and make it your own. For this role we are looking for a strong leader, with great management skills, who will have a big customer service focus that can look after our community and checkout team. Maybe you are a 2IC and looking for the next role to grow into!
The Role:
- Serve customers and be a key point of contact for customer queries.
- Provide support to the checkout team by organizing breaks and managing customer flow.
- Process restricted purchases.
- Support the Lotto counter, cafe area (Coffee and Gelato)
- Staff rostering to budget and within the needs of the business
- Strong team communication
- Lead and manage the team
What are we looking for:
- Someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional service.
- Reliable, honest and be a good team player.
- Some flexibility required for covering shifts for annual leave and sickness
- A great leader, who can support their team and bring out the best in them
- Able to work alone and under pressure
- Quick thinking for those last minute changes
Days and hours:
To be discussed but will include a weekend day and an evening shift
An LCQ / General Managers certificate is preferred but not essential.
