We're looking for an energetic, people-focused Checkout Manager to lead our front-end team and help create a shopping experience that keeps our customers coming back.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a natural leader who enjoys developing people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves to support the team when needed.

What You'll Be Doing

As our Checkout Manager, you'll be responsible for leading one of the busiest departments in the store. From coaching your team and managing daily operations to ensuring every customer leaves with a smile, you'll play a key role in our store's success.

 

Your day could include:

• Leading, motivating, and developing our Checkout team.
• Creating a positive culture where great customer service comes first.
• Managing rosters and staffing levels to meet the needs of the business.
• Monitoring checkout performance and finding ways to improve efficiency.
• Supporting the recruitment, training, and development of new team members.
• Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues with confidence and professionalism.
• Ensuring cash handling, health and safety, and store procedures are followed at all times.
• Working closely with other department leaders to deliver an exceptional shopping experience.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who:

• Has previous leadership or supervisory experience, ideally in retail or customer service.
• Leads by example and enjoys bringing out the best in others.
• Has exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Can stay calm under pressure and make sound decisions.
• Is organised, adaptable, and able to juggle multiple priorities.
• Is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
• Is flexible and available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends.
