What You’ll Be Doing

• As our Checkout Manager, you’ll champion excellence in customer service and set the standard for every interaction at our checkouts
• Leading, training, and inspiring our checkout team of currently 50-plus staff members
• Overseeing all aspects of checkout operations—from smart rostering and team performance management
• Fostering a positive, supportive team culture where communication, respect, and care are at the heart of everything we do
• Ensuring all service, compliance, and health & safety standards are met and exceeded
• Proactively identifying ways to innovate, streamline processes, and elevate the checkout experience for both customers and staff

• Proven leadership experience in retail, customer service, or a similar large, fast-paced environment
• We encourage current Checkout Managers, Assistant Checkout Managers, or rising stars in the field to apply
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
• A calm, professional approach—even during the busiest times. A genuine passion for people, teamwork, and delivering consistently outstanding customer experiences
