Checkout Operator - Part Time

New World Mt Albert is looking for a customer-focused Checkout Operator who can help create an outstanding experience for our Mt Albert community.

Roster

Please make sure you can work the shifts below before applying (24.50 hours per week):

Wednesday 3.30pm – 8.30pm

Thursday     3.30pm – 8.30pm

Friday          7.00am – 3.30pm

What you'll be doing

• Providing outstanding customer service
• Handling customer transactions and making sure your till balances each day
• Packing customers' groceries with care
• Keeping the checkout area and store to a high presentation standard
• Building relationships with the wider team and leadership to get the best results

What we're looking for

• A friendly, customer-focused person who enjoys helping people
• Reliable, honest and accurate, and comfortable handling cash and transactions
• Takes pride in presentation and productivity
• Works well as part of a team
• Available to work the roster above
• Eligible to work in New Zealand
