CHECKOUT OPERATOR  

 Gilmours Central are looking at adding to our Checkout team.

This position is great for anyone who enjoys a hands-on job with plenty of variety and if so,

then this may be the job for you! 

We are looking for customer service focused people to join our

Checkout team who can happily meet these requirements. 

• Passionate about providing great customer service?  
• Have cash handling experience and basic maths skills?  
• Are you available on the weekends?  
• Are you mature, hardworking, and reliable?  
• Do you hold, or have the ability to obtain a Managers Liquor License? 

Your main duties will include providing top quality service to our valued customers, handling of monies, help us abide to the rules around the sale of age restricted goods, following H&S, Food Safety and store procedures along with assisting us with the general maintenance and merchandising of the Checkout area.

The successful applicant must be honest, display excellent communication skills, be well presented, have an excellent work ethic and a great sense of humour. 

The position is 4 days per week and the hours of the vacancy are:

Wed, Thu, Friday 8:00am - 6:00pm plus Saturday 9:00am - 5:00pm

Previous experience not necessarily needed just the right attitude.

A requirement of the hiring process includes a Pre-Employment Drug Test, ACC Check and a Criminal History Check. Only applicants required for interviews will be contacted.
