Checkout Operator

New World Feilding is looking for a, friendly, reliable person to join our Checkout Team.

You will be working with a committed and motivated team who prides themselves on the quality produce and service we offer our customers here at New World.

Your main duties will include:

• Operating a Checkout
• Lotto
• Packing groceries
• Supervising the Self Checkouts
• Cleaning
• Helping customers
• Assisting in the grocery team
• Assist with all other duties that form part of supermarket operation
• Maintaining Health & Safety and Food Safety standards at all times

Here's what you'll need:

• To be physically fit – you’ll be on your feet all day, and moving
• Fast on your feet, your days will be busy serving customers quickly and accurately
• Customer service driven – you’ll spend a lot of time helping our customers
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be honest, you will be processing customer transactions
• Be reliable, we are a close team and you’ll be missed if you’re not here!
• Have a good work ethic
• Be able to work well under pressure

All our team members work a weekend day – please let us know in your cover letter if you prefer Saturday or Sunday.
