Checkout Supervisor 

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Checkout Supervisor to join our team. The Checkout Supervisor will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations at the checkout counters, maintaining high levels of customer service, and supervising a team of checkout staff.

Must be available for morning & evening shifts, plus one weekend day.

Morning shifts start 06:00/07:00, evening shifts finish at 21:00.

About the role:

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities at the checkout counters, ensuring efficient and accurate transactions.
• Monitor cashier performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional and timely manner.
• Oversee cash handling procedures, including opening and closing registers, and conducting cash audits.

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within a retail environment, preferably in a supermarket setting.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on providing a positive shopping experience.
• Proficient in cash handling procedures.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of POS systems and experience with retail software is preferred.
