Checkout Supervisor - New World Remuera

We are seeking an experienced Checkout Supervisor to join our Checkout Team on a full-time basis.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Checkout Supervisor you could expect to be: 

• Organising the daily operation of the checkout department including team members breaks
• Serving customers in a warm and welcoming way
• Supervising Self-Serve Checkouts
• Dealing with cash and payment transactions
• Enforcing legislation around the sale of age restricted goods
• Operating a Checkout
• Resolving customer complaints
• Packing groceries
• Ensuring all cleaning is completed
• Maintaining Health & Safety and Food Safety standards at all times

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone who is:

• Physically fit – you’ll be on your feet all day and moving between Checkouts and Supervising Self Checkouts - and operating a till
• Customer service driven
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be reliable
• Have a good work ethic
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
