looking for an experienced Checkout Supervisor to join our
wonderful team at New World Waihi.

The Key
Responsibilities will be:
- Working with the
Checkout Manager, 2IC and other Supervisors to lead the Checkout
team.
- Working with the
Checkout Manager to oversee the day-to-day
operations of the Checkout department.
- Doing varying tasks
which may include checkout operating, managing Self-Checkout lanes and
Express lanes, packing, cleaning, and trolleys.
- Being in sole charge of
Checkout department and being responsible for opening and closing the
Checkout department as required.
You must
meet the following skills and experience requirements:
- Outgoing and friendly.
- Relate well to all
people.
- High standards of
presentation.
- Honest, reliable,
excellent work ethic.
- To be physically fit –
you’ll be on your feet all day and moving between Checkouts.
- Customer service driven
– you’ll spend a lot of time helping our customers.
- Communicate clearly.
- Able to work well under
pressure.
- Great organizational
skills and the ability to prioritize tasks as required.
- Preferably experience as a Checkout Supervisor or a Supervisory role.
- Preferably with a Liquor
License.
