Checkout Supervisor - NW Stonefields

Our Checkout team plays a huge part in the experience our customers have in store! This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with people, can confidently lead a shift and isn’t afraid to jump in and help wherever needed. You’ll support the team throughout the day, keep things running smoothly and make sure our customers receive friendly, efficient and genuine service every time.

What you'll be doing:

• Supervising the Checkout team and supporting the smooth running of each shift
• Leading from the front and creating a positive, supportive team environment
• Making sure our customers receive an amazing experience every time
• Allocating breaks and helping coordinate the team throughout the day
• Supporting with cash handling, banking and other Front-End responsibilities
• Responding confidently to customer queries and resolving issues when they arise
• Maintaining high standards across the Checkout area
• Supporting the Checkout Manager and stepping up when required
• Keeping calm, organised and positive during our busiest periods

What we're looking for:

• Previous retail, supermarket or customer service experience
• Supervisory or leadership experience would be an advantage
• Confidence working with cash and handling transactions
• A natural ability to connect with both customers and team members
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Someone who is reliable, organised and takes ownership
• Great attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
• The ability to work well in a busy, fast-paced environment
• A current Managers Certificate would be an advantage

Most importantly, we're looking for someone with a great attitude, plenty of energy and a genuine passion for people and customer service.

Working Hours:

Tuesday - Saturday

1:00PM - 10:00PM
