Checkout Supervisor- NW Stratford

We are on the lookout for a motivated and friendly Checkout Supervisor to join our team. If you enjoy leading from the front, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and love delivering great customer service, this could be the role for you.

About the role

As Checkout Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in keeping our checkout area running smoothly. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing checkout operations and supporting the team during busy periods
  
• Resolving customer queries quickly and professionally
  
• Assisting the Checkout Manager with operational tasks when required
  
• Facilitating the sale of restricted items
  
• Leading by example and helping create a positive team environment

   

Hours

• 32 hours per week
  
• Availability to work Saturday evenings is essential
  
• Rostered shifts across the week

   

About you

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is self-motivated and takes initiative
  
• Has strong leadership and communication skills
  
• Works well as part of a team
  
• Brings a positive, customer-focused attitude to every shift

   

Previous retail or supermarket experience is an advantage, but not essential. We’re more interested in finding the right person with the right attitude.

 

Requirements

• Current Duty Manager’s Certificate or willingness to obtain one
  
• Applicants must be at least 20 years old
  
• No criminal record
  
• Ability to complete the Liquor Controllers Qualification
