Checkout Supervisor – PAK’nSAVE Masterton
PAK’nSAVE Masterton is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Checkout Supervisor to join our team!
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has strong leadership skills, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service.
About the role
As our Checkout Supervisor, you’ll play an important role in keeping our checkout area running smoothly and ensuring our customers receive a fast, friendly and positive experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supervising and supporting our checkout team
- Ensuring checkouts are operating efficiently and effectively
- Providing friendly, helpful customer service
- Supporting and training team members
- Managing busy periods and responding to customer needs
- Handling checkout issues and assisting with problem-solving
- Maintaining high standards of presentation, accuracy and service
- Working closely with other departments and the wider store team
About you
We’re looking for someone who:
Has excellent customer service skills
- Is confident leading and supporting a team
- Can remain calm and organised in a busy environment
- Has great communication skills
- Is reliable, positive and approachable
- Takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a team
- Has previous retail or checkout experience — supervisory experience is an advantage
