Checkout Supervisor - Part Time


We are seeking highly motivated and energetic people to join our Checkout Team

The role requires the delivery of fantastic 'customer service'. This is an excellent opportunity for a person who have the personal qualities already associated with providing excellent customer service and working in a team.

Previous supermarket or frontline customer service/cash handling experience is an advantage for these roles.

Days & Hours?

 

  • Monday:10.30-7.30
  • Sunday : 4.15-9.15

The Role:

  • Opening the checkout department to get it ready for the day's trade.
  • Keeping on top of customer flow and ensuring appropriate numbers of checkouts are open at all times.
  • Ensuring speedy resolution of price enquiry and other queries through effective liaison with all departments. 
  • Ensuring the checkout area is kept clean and tidy.
  • Assisting customers with the processing of their transactions in the self-scan area where required. 
  • End of the day cash up, securing all areas and cash including Lotto cash and terminal.

  • If you have checkout experience it will be a bonus 
  • A fantastic attitude, work ethic and passion for making a workplace great.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Physical fitness for repetitive lifting and standing for long periods of time.
  • Motivation to learn new skills.
