We’re looking for a motivated, hands‑on Checkout Supervisor who leads by example and helps create a positive, high‑performing front‑end environment. You’ll be supporting a busy team and ensuring every customer enjoys an excellent experience.

 

What the role involves

Reporting to the Checkout Manager, you’ll help oversee the smooth running of the checkout department, including:

 

  • Leading by example with outstanding customer service
  • Managing multiple tasks at once — for example, supervising self‑serve checkouts while serving Lotto customers and prioritizing what needs attention first
  • Monitoring the shop floor and stepping in wherever needed
  • Maintaining a calm, professional presence during busy or pressured periods

 

This role suits someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys being hands-on.

  • Excellent multitasking and prioritization skills
  • A great communicator and team player
  • Previous checkout & customer service experience
  • LCQ or GM Certificate (advantageous, but not essential)

 

Days & Hours

  • Wednesday: 2pm – 9pm
  • Friday: 9:30am – 6pm
  • Saturday: 12pm – 10pm
