Checkout Supervisor

Checkout Supervisor – Full Time

• Part of the Senior Checkout Team
• Must hold or be eligible for a Managers Certificate
• Later part of the day so you have the mornings to yourself

Following a recent upgrade, we are expanding our team and need some additional supervisory support at our checkouts at night, Thursday to Monday, to ensure we can provide an exceptional service experience to our valued customers.   Your role will be to support the checkout manager in maintaining the standards of the checkout area and holding duty manager responsibility when required.  Along with previous experience operating a checkout, you will also be required to hold a current Manager’s Certificate.

The Role:

Support the Checkout Manager to:

• Enhance the reputation of the business by promoting and encouraging best practice levels of customer service. 
• Effectively resolve enquiries and complaints and minimise the number of complaints received going forward.
• Ensure operational delivery standards are met or exceeded.   
• Reinforce and appropriately implement all store policies and procedures that relate to checkout transactions. 
• Maintain security of the front end.
• Process restricted purchases and support the Lotto counter. 
• Act as Duty Manager when required.
• Roster to ensure adequate staffing levels at all times. 
• Maintain checkout related stock and equipment.
