Join Our Team

We are seeking a strong leader who is friendly, reliable, and organised to take on the role of Checkout Supervisor. In this important full-time afternoon role, you’ll work with our other leaders to manage our busy checkout area, ensuring everything runs smoothly and our customers enjoy fast, efficient, and welcoming service. You’ll guide and support checkout assistants, provide training, and confidently handle any issues or customer queries that arise. Key responsibilities include monitoring queue flow, managing trolleys, organising staff breaks, and upholding high standards of customer service. You’ll collaborate with other leaders and the team, set the tone through your leadership, and help create a positive, supportive workplace.

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Previous experience supervising a checkout or customer service team is preferred
• Be a team player, as our Checkout team consists of 60 Team members
• Have a General Manager's certificate or the ability to gain one
• Be reliable, organised, and able to prioritise
• Have excellent communication skills and the ability to support and guide a team
• Focus on accuracy, efficiency and customer service.
• Use initiative and get on well under pressure.
• Follow all Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures.

Position

This is a full-time, permanent position working Tuesday to Saturday (37.5 hours). Your hours will be:

• Tuesday & Thursday & Saturday: 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm
• Wednesday & Friday: 1:30 pm – 9:30 pm
