Chilled and Frozen Assistant

We are seeking Chilled and Frozen foods assistants to join the Kumeu team. This job isn’t for the faint hearted and we need someone who enjoys working in the cold and has great attention to detail.

In this role you will be responsible for unpacking and merchandising a range of products and ensure the departments are kept clean, tidy, and presented well for our customers. You will need to be professional and helpful to our customers and adhere to all the Health and Safety and Food Safety Policies. 

It is important to note that you will be working in cold temperatures for extended periods of time, and this is essential to the role – jackets and gloves are provided.

Our ideal applicant will be:

• Physically fit and able to lift boxes and move pallets (at times up to 20+kgs)
• Comfortable working in a chilled and frozen environment
• Able to provide excellent customer service
• Great at following instructions and working unsupervised

Available shifts:

We are looking to fill a variety of shifts, both mornings and evenings. Please highlight your availability for work when you submit your application.
