Chilled & Frozen Foods Assistant

New World Albany is all about delivering great food and great service. We’re looking for TWO enthusiastic Chilled & Frozen Foods Assistants to join our team — one fulltime and one part‑time.

If you enjoy working in a busy environment, take pride in well‑presented shelves, and love helping customers, this could be the role for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Replenishing chilled and frozen products throughout the day
• Rotating stock and completing date checks
• Keeping the department clean, safe, and well‑organized
• Assisting customers with product enquiries
• Working closely with the team to maintain high store standards

What We’re Looking For

• A positive, friendly attitude
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards
• Reliable, self‑motivated, and able to work well in a team
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
• Previous supermarket or retail experience is helpful — but full training is provided

Physical & Environment Requirements
This role includes:

• Regular lifting, bending, and reaching
• Being on your feet for most of your shift
• Working in chilled and frozen temperatures for short and extended periods (Full PPE and protective clothing are provided.)

Available Roles & Hours

• Full Time Position   Tuesday – Friday: 10:00am – 7:00pm
• Part Time Position   Friday & Sunday: 10:00am – 7:00pm
