Chilled/Frozen & Grocery Assistant - NW Stonefields

We are currently looking for multiple motivated, reliable, and hardworking individuals to join our team as Grocery and Chilled & Frozen Assistants at New World Stonefields!

As a valued member of our team, you’ll play an important role in keeping our store well-stocked, organised, and presented to a high standard, while helping to create an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

What the Role Involves

• Unloading deliveries, stripping pallets, and safely moving stock to the appropriate departments
• Replenishing grocery, chilled, and frozen stock to a high standard.
• Ensuring shelves and displays are well-stocked, organised, and presented.
• Regularly checking and facing up products with minimal disruption to customers.
• Assisting customers with enquiries and helping them locate the products they need.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
• Undertaking general housekeeping duties as required.
• Supporting other departments and the wider store team when needed.

Available Positions

Full-Time Chilled & Frozen Assistant

34 hours per week

• Friday: 4:00am – 1:00pm
• Saturday: 4:00am – 1:00pm
• Sunday: 4:00am – 1:00pm
• Monday: 6:00am – 3:00pm
• Days off: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday

Full-Time Grocery Assistant

• Friday: 1:00pm – 10:00pm
• Saturday: 1:00pm – 10:00pm
• Sunday: 1:00pm – 10:00pm
• Monday: 1:00pm – 10:00pm
• Tuesday: 1:00pm – 10:00pm
• Days off: Wednesday & Thursday

Part-Time Grocery Assistant

• Friday: 1:00pm – 10:00pm
• Saturday: 1:00pm – 10:00pm
• Days off: Sunday – Thursday

Requirements

• Applicants must currently be based in New Zealand.
• Must have legal entitlement to work in New Zealand.
• Ability to reliably work the required days and hours.
• Ability to safely lift up to 25kg.
