Chilled, Frozen and Liquor Manager

We're looking for an enthusiastic and driven Chilled, Frozen & Liquor Manager to lead these key departments and make a real impact. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience running multiple departments with the autonomy and responsibility of managing your own business.

As Department Manager, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day operations, leading and inspiring a high-performing team to deliver exceptional results. From planning and ordering to stock management, and maintaining outstanding retail standards, you'll ensure every aspect of the departments runs smoothly and efficiently.

With a strong customer-first mindset, you'll create an outstanding shopping experience for our local community while driving sales growth, maximizing profitability, and managing costs. The hours for the role are 07:00 to 16:00, 5 days incl 1 weekend day.

 About the role: 

• A strong people focus, leading a team of 2-3 people each day, and working well with others.
• Planning and executing all facets of the day-to-day operations of the department including ordering, filling, promotional planning and operational processes.
• Achieve agreed retail standards, department sales, GP and wage targets.

Our preferred applicant will be physically fit and healthy, computer literate and have retail experience in a manager or supervisor role. If you do not have supermarket industry experience then you will have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
