Chilled,
Frozen and Liquor Manager
New World Paremata is looking for a Chilled
Frozen and Liquor Manager. In this role you will gain similar experience
running these departments to running your own business, with the challenge of
creating an outstanding team that delivers awesome shopping experiences for our
local community.
You will be responsible for planning and coordinating
all facets of the day to day operations of the departments including leading
and inspiring your team, ordering, product ranging, operational/stock processes
and retail standards.
You will need to approach your role through a customer
driven lens to maximise sales growth and achieve specified profit margins in
the department whilst managing expenses so that our customers receive an
outstanding shopping experience.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL HAVE:

able to deliver results through others
- A customer focus; be able to meet and exceed customer
expectations; and
- A co-operative spirit; be able to adhere to the
store’s principles and values, and understand and utilize the advantage of
being part of a co-operative.
Our preferred applicant will
be physically fit and healthy, computer literate and have retail experience in a manager or supervisor role. If you do not have supermarket industry experience then you will have a positive attitude and willingness to learn. The hours for the role are Sunday-Thursday 07:00 to 16:00.
