Chilled, Frozen & Liquor Manager

Here at New World Aokautere, we are a tight knit team and we're a locally owned and operated store that's proud to serve our community! An exciting management opportunity is coming up at New World Aokautere. We are seeking a Chilled, Frozen & Liquor Manager to run these departments end to end for our valued customers. 

This role is a full time, permanent position Sunday - Thursday.

The Chilled, Frozen & Liquor Manager's role consists of but not limited to assisting to help maximise sales whilst managing expenses, buying, maintaining stock levels, out of stocks, wastage, assisting with unloading stock, ensuring all elements of health and safety and food safety are adhered too, training team members and doing everything possible for these departments and in the wider store when required, to ensure our customers receive an outstanding shopping experience.

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

• Experience in supermarket management, extensive FMCG experience, inventory controller or other managerial experience
• SAP experience strongly preferred but not essential
  
• Experience supervising and leading people preferred but not essential
• Self-motivated individual with a great work ethic
• Able to work within the parameters of a Food Safety Program
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, whilst placing emphasis on Health and Safety policies and procedures
• You'll be working alongside the team each day so need to be physically fit and able to fulfil the requirements of the role.
• The ability to keep calm under pressure and work as a team

Someone that is calm, friendly, organised, has a good understanding of commercials, able to listen and follow instructions but also think outside the box, someone that is solutions focussed and has a relentless focus on our customers.

Days and times are:

Monday 3am - 11.30am

Tuesday 5am - 1.30pm

Wednesday 5am - 1.30pm

Thursday 5am - 1.30pm

Sunday 5am - 1.30pm
