Compliance Manager

We are looking for a motivated, positive, approachable person who can build strong relationships with our department managers and team members along with key external agencies who assist us in maintaining our Food Safety, Health and Safety programmes and our Price Integrity requirements.

Previous Supermarket experience is not essential however an ability to understand and implement and ensure compliance with our Compliance programmes is a must.

You possess a true sense of urgency in service delivery without sacrificing any service levels to our customers.  You ask ‘how can we achieve this service / product safely for our team and our customers at all times’.

Your key accountabilities will include:

• Completing store audits for both Food Safety and Health and Safety and assisting departments with making improvements where necessary, and ensuring a pass at every audit and maintaining the same standards every day.
• Completing training individually and of the team when required
• Assisting with the rollout and implementation of all Food and Health and Safety and Inventory Programmes prescribed by Foodstuffs, MPI and / or the relevant agencies.
• Monitoring the efficiency, effectiveness and integrity of established systems in relation to food safety in the store in terms of understanding the requirements and implementing as required
• Ensuring that our team members maintain the required standards at all times.
