Customer Service, Online and Catering Manager
New World Metro Queen Street are seeking a Customer Service, Online and Catering Manager to join our team here at New World Metro Queen St.
As a department leader, you'll play an integral part our in mission to be the best grocery store in Auckland CBD, continuously delivering an awesome shopping experience for our instore and online customers.
The Role:
As Customer Service, Online and Catering Manager, you'll be part of the frontline team. Here, customers have the most contact with our team and we're focused on continuing to build and develop on our awesome customer experience both in store and online to be second to none.
- Create, drive and deliver customer experiences worth walking past the competition for.
- You'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the checkout, online and catering departments.
- Ensure all customers' needs are met and they receive the highest quality customer service.
- Complete rosters, conduct performance reviews, and training.
- Setting the standards and ensuring they are met day in and day out.
- Build relationships with the wider team and management to get the very best results.
- Ensuring the responsible sale of alcohol and restricted sales.

What are we looking for:
- Proven checkout management or 2IC experience is advantageous.
- Previous experience in customer service is essential.
- Previous experience in Online advantageous.
- LCQ and/or Managers Certificate and experience selling alcohol.
- Great people skills and people leadership potential.
- Reliable, honest and be a good team player.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Proven customer service experience.
- Sound computer literacy and keen to learn and use the latest technology.
- Flexibility with working days and hours.
