We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, ambitious, and results-driven leader to join our Deli Department as Assistant Deli Manager.

About the Role
As Assistant Deli Manager, you'll play a key role in leading a high-performing team, driving sales, creating exciting meal solutions, and ensuring our department continues to exceed customer expectations.
Working alongside the Deli Manager, you'll gain experience, from planning and forecasting to merchandising, team leadership, product development, and customer engagement.
What You'll Be Doing
- Inspire, coach, and support your team to deliver outstanding customer service every day.
- Help lead a positive, energetic culture where people enjoy coming to work and performing at their best.
- Maintain the highest Health & Safety and Food Safety standards.
- Drive sales growth, profitability, and departmental performance.
- Manage ordering, stock levels, and product availability to ensure our customers always find what they need.
- Keep the department fresh, full, and visually appealing throughout the day.
- Assist with the development of exciting meal solutions, ready-to-eat and heat-and-eat offerings.
- Contribute to menu planning, recipe development, product preparation, packaging, and merchandising.
- Adapt quickly to changing customer needs
About You
We're looking for someone who brings energy, initiative, and a genuine passion for food and people.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous Fresh Foods experience at a supervisor or Management level.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate, develop, and inspire others.
- Excellent planning, organisation, and problem-solving abilities.
- The confidence to make decisions and take ownership of results.
- A passion for creating exceptional food experiences and meal solutions.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong computer literacy and SAP experience.
- A collaborative approach and commitment to our store values and culture.
- A caring, supportive leadership style that brings out the best in people.

Hours of Work
Sunday – Thursday | 5:00am – 1:30pm
