We friendly community supermarket is looking for a Delicatessen and Seafood Department Manager to lead one of our exciting fresh food departments.

This is a hands-on leadership role where quality, presentation, and people come first. You'll inspire your team, delight our customers and ensure the deli and seafood counter is always fresh, vibrant and exciting.

What you'll be doing

• Running the day-to-day operations of the deli and seafood fresh food department
• Leading and motivating a high performing team
• Maintaining exceptional standards of food quality, freshness and presentation
• Managing stock, waste, ordering and department KPI's and wage budgets
• Maintaining Food Safety Standards
• Delivering outstanding customer service in a community-focused environment

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in a fresh food or supermarket environment
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• A passion for fresh food and customer service
• Energy to work in an organised, proactive, confident and fast-paced way
