Deli Manager - NW Stonefields

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and hands-on Service Deli Manager to join us at New World Stonefields.

This isn’t a role for someone who wants to manage from the sidelines! We’re looking for someone who is ready to get amongst it with the team, lead from the front and bring plenty of positive energy to the department.

Our Deli is busy, fast-paced and a huge part of the experience we create for our customers. You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day running of the department, while working alongside your team to deliver great food, great service and a department everyone can be proud of.

What you’ll be getting amongst:

• Leading, supporting and motivating the Deli team
• Keeping the department running smoothly day to day
• Creating delicious food and maintaining awesome displays
• Driving high standards across quality, presentation and customer service
• Managing stock, ordering, production and inventory
• Rostering your team to meet the needs of the department
• Maintaining excellent Food Safety and Health & Safety standards
• Building a positive team culture where everyone gets stuck in
• Using our in-store systems, including SAP, to manage stock and reporting

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has leadership experience within fresh foods, deli, hospitality or a similar environment
• Loves leading people and being part of the team
• Brings energy, enthusiasm and a positive attitude to work
• Is organised and can keep things moving in a busy environment
• Has strong food knowledge and understands the importance of quality and presentation
• Is confident coaching, developing and supporting others
• Is customer-focused and loves delivering a great experience
• Is reliable, adaptable and happy to roll up their sleeves when needed
• Has SAP experience & a strong understanding of Food Safety
