Deli Seafood Manager Eastridge New World

We're looking for an Enthusiastic and passionate Deli/Seafood Manager to lead our Deli department with   a team that takes pride in delivering quality products, exceptional service, and a shopping experience that keeps customers coming back.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys developing people, has a genuine passion for food, and thrives on creating a department that is well-presented, well-stocked, and consistently performing at a high level.

What You'll Be Responsible For

As Deli/Seafood Manager, you'll take ownership of the department and lead all aspects of its day-to-day operation, including:

• Delivering outstanding customer service and creating a positive shopping experience.
• Maintaining exceptional standards of freshness, quality, presentation, and food safety.
• Leading, coaching, and developing an Enthusiastic  high-performing team.
• Ordering, stock control, waste management, and inventory accuracy.
• Pricing integrity and promotional execution.
• Rostering, labour management, and team productivity.
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and Food Safety requirements.
• Achieving sales, wage, and profit targets.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, performance, and the overall customer experience.

What We're Looking For

You'll be someone who:

• Is organised, reliable, and able to work well under pressure.
• Has proven experience in a  leadership role.
• Leads by example and enjoys developing and supporting others.
• Has a passion for food and takes pride in presentation and quality.
• Understands what great customer service looks like and how to build a customer-focused culture.
• Has strong commercial awareness and the ability to drive department performance.
• Has a sound understanding of Food Safety and Health & Safety requirements.
• Experience with SAP is an advantage but not essential.
