We are looking for excellence and a passion for food!  We are seeking an individual who is committed to delivering to a high standard and possesses strong organisational and communication skills along with an excellent work ethic.

Our Service Deli department is responsible for producing and supplying fresh & superior quality delicatessen products including meals, to our customers.

As our Deli Supervisor you will be responsible for assisting the department Team Leader with maximising sales and achieving specified profit margins whilst managing expenses, stock levels and assisting the department team in preparing, cooking and producing meals to enable a range of enticing, tasty meal options. These include pizzas, sandwiches and salads that reflect our quality fresh and frozen Delil products that are available for sale to our customers. You will be carrying out date checks and following food safety standards to ensure our customers receive an outstanding shopping experience. You will also be helping to ensure ordering is completed for the department through effective use of the in-store purchasing systems.

Qualifications, experience, skills and attributes required for this role:

• A passion for food and delighting customers.
• Supervisory Experience.

• Proven leadership skills.
• Ability to ensure that all food is prepared, seasoned and cooked to Food Safety standards while maintaining quality.
• Strong relationship builder, team player and problem solver.
• Strong communication (verbal and written).
• Maintaining standards and eye for detail.
• Ability to work in a faced paced team environment.
• Physically fit and healthy.
• Experience with food production.
• Experience in a similar retail environment will be an advantage.
• Food Safety Certificate would be advantageous.
• Experience with SAP would be advantageous.

Tuesday to Saturday.
