Delicatessen and Seafood Supervisor

With our soon to be joint Delicatessen and Seafood Departments we are needing 2 Supervisors to join the team in a full-time permanent capacity. You and the Job…

The role has been designed to help ensure that we have leads within the team who can direct and motivate the team to achieve the departments goal's, continuing to maintain high standards and productivity so that our customers receive an awesome shopping experience. 

• Provide exceptional leadership of our delicatessen & seafood team, always being above the line and willing to get stuck in
• Always thinking customer and ensuring that the level of service not only yourself but the team provides is second to none

• Comfortable with coaching conversations that help drive performance and team spirit
• Ability to multi-task, work with people from all walks of life, trouble-shoot, and remain unflappable under pressure

• A result orientated person – you are pragmatic, detail oriented and always stiving to achieve excellence
• Physically fit – the role requires you to be constantly on your feet, maintaining the workflow of the department and assisting both team and customers including jumping in to serve as and when required
• Understanding of regulatory practices – health and safety and food safety are critical in this work area

Days and Hours:

Whilst we have yet to set the specifics of this as we will adjust for the right person, it is critical that you are both flexible and reliable in your roster. You will be required to work 1 day in the weekend and do both opening and closing shifts throughout your week as to lead the team we must be seen by the team.
