Delicatessen Assistant

We are offering an opportunity to join our great team as a Delicatessen Assistant, part time including weekend shifts.

The right candidate will:

• Have previous food handling work experience (training course, kitchenhand, cooking, service deli)
• Enjoy providing excellent customer service
• Have a good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards - ideally have food handling and hygiene experience
• A desire to make a career in the food/hospitality industry

If you've recently completed a food-related training course, this could be the first step for you towards a career in food retail/hospitality; we offer ongoing training and opportunity for valuable industry skills

Deli assistants have a variety of tasks, including cleaning, food preparation and cooking, maintaining our display areas, customer service, ensure the delicatessen counter is appropriately stocked and merchandised at all times.

You'll be working in a small team where everyone works together to ensure the best products are available to our customers
