Digital Marketing Strategist – PAK’nSAVE Highland Park

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Digital Marketing Strategist to join PAK’nSAVE Highland Park. Working closely with the senior leadership team and key department stakeholders, you will play a critical role in shaping our digital presence, connecting with our diverse local community, and driving customer engagement and sales through smart, creative, and data-driven marketing.

Full-time opportunity (minimum 40 hours per week) - one weekend of work required to support promotions and campaigns.

Hourly rate: $30 - $40.

Key Responsibilities

● Plan and execute daily social media content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, WhatsApp, Little Red Book (Rednote) and WeChat groups.

● Plan, shoot, edit, and publish high-quality photo and video content showcasing products, pricing, promotions, and in-store experiences.

● Develop and execute an end-to-end digital and social media strategy, including Chinese social platforms (Rednote and WeChat).

● Build and manage content calendars, campaign plans, and promotional schedules aligned with store trading priorities.

● Engage with customers through comments, direct messages, emails, and online enquiries.

● Understand Asian customer buying behaviour and tailor content and messaging accordingly.

● Plan, execute, and optimise paid digital advertising (Meta Ads, TikTok Ads), analysing performance and improving ROI.

● Collaborate closely with store leadership and department managers to align digital content with promotions and customer needs.

● Build strong internal relationships and represent digital marketing in key discussions.

● Oversee the annual social and digital marketing budget, including forecasting and spend tracking.

● Manage media buying, including researching, negotiating, and purchasing digital and print advertising placements

Skills & Experience

● Proven experience in social media management and content creation in a fast-paced environment

● Strong photography skills, particularly in product and in-store photography

● Strong video shooting and editing skills, using mobile devices and/or professional cameras

● Hands-on experience with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, WhatsApp, Rednote, and WeChat

● Solid understanding of short-form and long-form video trends across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Facebook

● Experience using content scheduling tools, hashtag strategies, and audience growth techniques

● High proficiency with Meta Business Suite, Meta Insights, TikTok Analytics, and YouTube Studio

● Graphic design capability using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva

● Video editing experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut.

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

● The ability to communicate with clients via platforms such as Rednote and WeChat group.

● Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.

● Leadership capability and a passion for building strong relationships across the business
