Driver - Saturday only

Gilmours Manukau is looking for a dedicated Class 2 Driver to join our team as a Saturday Driver.

As a Driver, you are more than just a delivery person, you are a vital brand ambassador. You’ll be responsible for ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time while building the strong relationships that keep our business moving during our busy weekend trade.

The Role

This is a fast-paced, autonomous role where you will manage your own runs across the region. You will be responsible for delivering a range of ambient, chilled, and frozen products to our diverse customer base, ensuring our high standards of service are maintained through to the end of the week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Excellence: Complete daily scheduled calls using efficient route management and precise carton counts.
• Tech-Forward Delivery: Use the Microlise (POD) system for manifests, invoicing, and photo evidence of deliveries.
• Cold Chain Integrity: Maintain the highest food safety standards by monitoring and recording temperatures from start to finish.
• Asset Care: Take ownership of your vehicle and equipment (trolleys, jacks, temp guns), ensuring the truck is returned clean and fuelled.
• Customer Ambassadorship: Resolve inquiries on-site and act as a professional representative of the Gilmours brand.

What We’re Looking For

• Licensed & Experienced: You must hold a valid Class 2 License with 2–3 years of delivery experience.
• Physically Fit: This is a hands-on role involving manual handling (we’ll provide the 'Back 2 Good' warm-up training!).
• Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage inventory (including our '1-in-1-out' keg return process) and accurate invoicing.
• Great Communicator: A good command of English and a customer-service mindset.
• Reliable: Someone who takes ownership of the Saturday shift and thrives in an autonomous environment.
