Dry Goods 3IC - PAK'nSAVE Hastings
The Dry Goods Department at PAK'nSAVE Hastings is looking to gain a new, fresh and dynamic leader by way of a Dry Goods 3IC. This role has been created to support and team up with the Dry Goods Manager, to effectively manage and take ops to the next level across our Dry Goods Department! Covering position segments like operations, compliance, people leading and safety, this role is suited to a budding leader who has experience with small-medium teams and is keen to sink their teeth into an area of the Dry Goods department that is primed for someone to make their mark!
The days and hours are as follows:
- Tuesday to Saturday 6.00am - 2.30pm (40 hours per week)
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Motivating, coaching and supporting the Chilled & Frozen team, and wider Dry Goods Department, ensuring that best practice policies and operational procedures are followed at all times
- Effectively ensuring that all departments are stocked throughout opening hours and FIFO and stock rotation procedures are adhered to, as well as merchandising standards and processes are kept
- Ensuring all food safety and health & safety standards are maintained in accordance to the relevant policies
- Working and liaising with the Operations team to ensure efficiency in processes and productivity of team
- Complete effective performance reviews, end-to-end recruitment for the Chilled & Frozen Department and full payroll timesheets for relevant team members
- Ensuring price integrity of Chilled & Frozen items at all times through proper practices
- Ideally, at least 1 year leadership or management experience.
- Exciting leadership and coaching skills
- Extremely customer-focused outlook
- Excellent planning & organizing skills
- A Current Managers Certificate, as well as a Forklift license, is highly desired but not essential for the right candidate!

Remuneration band is dependent on experience and what you can bring to the team.
