Dry Goods Assistant - Part Time

New World Mt Albert is looking for a keen, hardworking and reliable person to join our Dry Goods team. Do you enjoy being busy, working as part of a team and looking after customers?

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, varied environment. You'll be stocking shelves, keeping the aisles full and tidy, and helping customers find what they need. It takes someone who can stay organised, keep moving, and strive for excellent customer satisfaction every time. A strong focus on teamwork is a must.

The role

16 hours per week:

Friday 7.00 AM - 3.30 PM 

Saturday 7.00 AM - 3.30 PM

What you'll be doing

• Stocking and facing shelves to keep the aisles full and well presented
• Rotating stock and checking dates to keep the range fresh and correct
• Helping customers find what they need and answering questions on the floor
• Keeping aisles, back areas and displays clean, tidy and safe
• Working as part of the team to keep the department running smoothly through busy periods

What we require

• A reliable, honest team player who works well with others
• A passion for high presentation standards and getting things right
• Delivers strong customer service with a positive attitude
• Willing and able to learn new skills and keep our shelves looking their best
• Experience in a supermarket or retail environment is an advantage
• Available to work the roster above
• Eligible to work in New Zealand
