Dry Goods Assistants - Full Time (Evenings)

The Dry Goods Department at PAK'nSAVE Hastings, including Grocery, Chilled & Frozen, Liquor and Trolley sub-departments, are on the lookout for diligent and hard-working super stars to join the team.

We have a handful roles available in our Dry Goods team & the hours for these positions are as follows:

1. Sunday to Thursday - 4:00pm - 12:00am (37.5 Hours per week)
2. Tuesday to Saturday - 4:00pm - 12:00am (37.5 Hours per week)

The role:

• Receiving and stacking grocery deliveries from direct suppliers and our distribution center.
• Checking for gaps on the shelves and collecting stock to fill these ensuring the shelves are ready to go for the next day's trade!
• Working with a large team of both full time and part time employees to ensure that our customers always have products available to purchase.
• Work across multiple sub departments within the wider Dry Goods team, Grocery, Chilled & Frozen and Liquor.
• Loading bulk products ready for our morning team the following day!

What we are looking for:

• Ability to work alone and independently as well as in a team environment all whilst remaining productive!
• Possess problem solving skills
• Able to take direction and correction from a Team Leader
• Eye for detail and pride in stock presentation
• A great working attitude
• Absolute reliability 
• Physical work is involved, with lots of lifting and stacking, so a good level of fitness is required.
