Dry Goods Manager

New World Howick are on the lookout for a Dry Goods Manager! Joining our senior leadership team, you’ll play a key part in driving the success of our store and people. The Role

Joining our team of 115, you’ll work closely with our store manager and owner/operator to oversee the daily operations of our Dry Goods Department. You’ll lead from the front to drive high standards across the store, build a collaborative culture and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

• Proven management experience within a retail environment.
• Motivated and driven towards a successful grocery retail career.
• A hands-on mindset – our managers are “do-ers” and not afraid to jump in where needed.
• Strong people leadership experience – comfortable with rostering, performance management and staff learning and development.
• SAP and Inventory experience an advantage.
• Customer-centric and passionate about delivering exceptional levels of customer service.

Hours:

Tuesday: 5am to 2:30pm

Wednesday: 5am to 2:30pm

Thursday: 5am to 2:30pm

Friday: 5am to 2:30pm

Saturday: 5am to 2:30pm
