New World Paremata has an exciting Duty Manager opportunity where you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of our community supermarket.  We are committed to delivering an excellent customer experience for our community and we are looking for a motivated individual who shares this enthusiasm to join us as a Duty Manager.

This is a full-time role.

Hours: 13:00-21:00, 5 days per week including 1x weekend day.

About the role:

• Delight our customers through great customer engagement
• Delivering excellent retail standards
• Leading daily team activities
• Training and developing teams
• Develop business/operational processes
• Uphold store policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and promoting a safe working environment.

 What we are looking for:

• Previous FMCG retail experience preferred.
• Duty managers certificate preferred but not essential.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Sound knowledge of retail operations and customer service principles.
• Results driven and good attention to detail
