New World Ngaruawahia is growing and we are looking for a Full Time Duty Manager and Grocery Assistant to join our team.

These roles suit people who enjoy working in a fast-paced supermarket environment, take pride in high standards, and provide excellent customer service.

 

 

 Duty Manager (Full Time)

We’re looking for someone who has:

 

 

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

     

     

  • Excellent attention to detail

     

     

  • Calm, organised and reliable

     

     

  • Ability to motivate and support a team

     

     

  • Retail or supermarket experience preferred

     

     

  • LCQ and Duty Manager Certificate (or willing to obtain)

     

     

 

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Supporting daily store operations

     

     

  • Supervising staff and maintaining store standards

     

     

  • Delivering excellent customer service

     

     

  • Handling cash, security and closing duties

 

🔹 Grocery Assistants

We’re looking for people who are:

 

 

  • Reliable and hardworking

     

     

  • Friendly with good communication skills

     

     

  • Able to work well in a team

     

     

  • Customer-focused

     

     

  • Retail or supermarket experience preferred (training provided)

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

 

  • Stocking shelves and maintaining presentation

     

     

  • Assisting customers

     

     

  • Keeping the department clean and tidy

     

     

  • Supporting daily store operations
