DUTY MANAGER/GROCERY EVENING MANAGER

We are looking for a Duty/Grocery Evening Manager to join our team at PAK’nSAVE Royal Oak

We are looking for a manager to help us deliver the best customer experience and to motivate and inspire our team.  The Role is Tuesday to Saturday 1:30pm-11pm.  The role has two components.  Managing the Grocery Team three days a week and Duty Manager two days a week.  This is a senior role in our store and requires experience.  It's perfect for someone wanting their next step in their career. 

The Role:

• Create, drive and deliver customer experiences worth driving past the competition for
• Organise the operational execution of our store with over fifty team members on some shifts. Leadership experience is necessary.
• Lead the team in maintaining the highest standards for the store
• Provide the team an awesome place to work, keeping them motivated, happy, and healthy
• Work with the store leadership to build the long-term grocery strategy
• Deliver on financial performance targets
• Always Maintain Health & Safety and Food Safety standards.
• Nail the delivery of customer grumbles – providing winning solutions which keeps loyal customers extra loyal!

What are we looking for:

• An ability to listen, advise and come up with operationally savvy, customer driven solutions
• Logical operational thinking, reasoning and problem solving
• Leadership capability you can demonstrate, with up to 50 people in the team it is not always easy
• Applied performance coaching, training and development of your people
• Previous supermarket experience, ideally in grocery
• Forklift license desirable
• SAP experience desirable
• LCQ and Managers certificates desirable
