Duty Manager New World Cambridge


We're recruiting for a reliable hands-on Duty Manager to support the daily operations of our fri(including evenings and a weekend shift) - ensuring our customers have an awesome shopping experience, supporting our team members, and keeping the store safe and well-presented. 

What you will be doing:

  • Oversee the store during your shift
  • Provide leadership and support to staff across all departments
  • Handle customer queries and concerns
  • Monitor store standards and compliance (food, security and health and safety)

What you will bring:

  • Previous retail or supermarket experience (supervisory or leadership experience is preferred)
  • Great people skills and a calm, confident leadership style with a passion for team success
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Attention to detail
  • A positive, can-do attitude and flexibility with working hours
  • A passion for customer service
