Duty Manager

We’re excited to announce that New World Mount Albert will be rejoining the community later this year!  With a brand-new store, fresh fit-out and wide offering across grocery, butchery, deli, bakery, produce and liquor, we can’t wait to open our doors again to the Mount Albert community.

Our opening date is set for August 2024 we are seeking a Duty Manager to join the team. You’ll play a key part in our journey towards a successful store opening and continuously deliver an awesome shopping experience for our community. 

As Duty Manager you will:

• Provide a high level of customer service and assisting customers where needed.
• Manage the staffing, shop standards, and store closing responsibilities across the Dry Goods departments.
• Ensure a consistently fresh & appealing shopping experience for customers.
• Help deliver on financial performance targets including budgets, wastage, and sales forecasting.
• Work across any area of the store as required.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven duty manager experience and managers liquor licence.
• Experience within grocery, chilled & frozen foods or liquor are advantageous. 
• Reliability, integrity, and a team player
• Self-starter aptitude and a flair for seamlessly transitioning between diverse departments are your forte.
• Forklift license is advantageous.
