Four Square Onehunga is your fresh grocer. Our store offers barista made coffee, a great food-to-go selection, all the everyday essentials and fresh faves that our customers could want, all while providing the local service that Four Square is famous for. We are seeking a Duty Manager to join our team. You’ll be working alongside a passionate, engaged team of customer service super stars to help deliver a shopping experience that is second to none.
The Role
- Provide a high level of customer service and ensure a consistently fresh, full, and friendly shopping experience for our guests.
- You’ll help in several areas: duty management, merchandising, ranging, checkouts and more.
- Lead by example within a small team to ensure the store is always presented to the highest possible standard.
- Look at the big picture, the Duty Manager must overlook the entire store and all departments, ensuring the store as a whole is running to the best of its ability.

What are we looking for:
- Hospitality, grocery, and/or fresh experience is advantageous.
- Hold a current Liquor Manager's Certificate (or be interested to train toward one, have previously held one or be able to obtain one, be over 20 years old)
- Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service in a retail or similar industry.
- Bring energy and enthusiasm and be excited about opening and closing the Store and everything that comes in between.
- Have a strong work ethic, be solutions focused and stay calm under pressure.
- Have excellent communication skills, be reliable, honest and an engaged team player.
- Be fit and physically capable.
- Be willing to work shifts across the day, including weekends and evenings.
