About the role:

We're looking for a motivated, reliable and customer-focused Duty Manager to join our friendly team at Four Square Aramoho.

This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the store while providing excellent service to our customers. You'll work across all areas of the store and be responsible for maintaining high standards throughout your shift.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing friendly and efficient customer service
• Opening and closing the store when required
• Operating the checkout and assisting customers
• Filling, rotating and merchandising stock
• Maintaining high food safety, health & safety, and store presentation standards
• Ensuring compliance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act while on duty
• Assisting in the kitchen when required, including preparing our popular chicken & chips
• Supporting your teammates and helping where needed

What we're looking for:

• A current and valid Duty Manager's Certificate (essential)
• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
• Friendly with excellent customer service skills
• Able to work independently and use initiative
• Positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
• Comfortable being on your feet for extended periods and handling moderate lifting as part of the role
• Previous supermarket or retail experience is preferred

Hours:

• 30 hours per week
• A mixture of weekday, evening and weekend shifts
• Must be available to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday), with availability for both weekend days preferred
• Opportunity for additional shifts to cover leave and busy periods
