Duty Manager

At the heart of our supermarket is creating a store all our staff are proud of our customers love. Join our duty manager team and lead from the front, inspire staff, and deliver exceptional customer service. As a duty manger you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the grocery team. You'll be a visible leader, confident decision-maker and someone who thrives on finding solutions in a fast-paced environment. 

What you'll be doing:

- Leading shifts (including early morning, late evening and weekend shifts)

- Supporting, motivating and coordinating grocery team members

- Providing exceptional customer service and resolving customer queries

- Identifying and finding solutions for operational challenges

- Maintaining high standards of presentation, safety and compliance

- Creating a positive team culture and store our team are proud of

What we're looking for:

- Proven leadership experience in a retail and customer-focused environment

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

- A passion for customer service

- Flexibility to work early mornings (5am), late finishes (9pm) and at least one weekend day

- Ideally someone with a Managers Certificate and Forklift Certificate (not essential)
